Being from Cambridgeshire, I used to take The Guided Busway to college everyday and it always occured to me how interesting it would be to document it through photography. I was inspired by the New Topographics, a group of photographers who photographed the banal and the ugly, objects and locations which were not considered beautiful in everyday life. One aspect which fascinates me about The Guided Busway is the desolate and flat wasteland surrounding it. It gives the location and almost apocalyptic atmosphere.
